Mimer Studios LLC (“Mimer Studios,” “we,” or “us”) built Ocarina Buddy to arrange and practice music for a 12-hole ocarina. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information we collect
Mimer Studios does not require an account and does not operate its own analytics service. The free version uses Google AdMob to display advertising. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as IP address-derived general location, device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, performance data, and diagnostics to deliver, measure, secure, and improve ads.

Music files and iCloud
MIDI files selected by you are processed on your device. If a Pro user saves a song, Ocarina Buddy stores the arrangement and a copy of the MIDI file on the device and in the user’s private Apple iCloud storage. Mimer Studios does not operate a server that receives or accesses these files.
You can rename or delete saved songs inside Ocarina Buddy. Deleting a saved song removes the app’s synced copy. You can also manage app documents through iCloud Drive and Apple’s iCloud settings.

Direct web imports
Pro users may enter a web address to download a MIDI file. The request goes directly from the user’s device to the selected website. That website may receive technical information normally associated with a web request, such as the user’s IP address, and is governed by its own privacy policy. Mimer Studios does not receive the requested address or downloaded file.

Purchases
Ocarina Buddy Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Mimer Studios does not receive payment-card details. Apple may provide purchase status so the app can unlock or restore Pro features.

Advertising and tracking
The free version may display third-party advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Where required, Ocarina Buddy presents Google’s privacy consent choices before requesting ads. Ad availability and personalization depend on the user’s region, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s policies. Pro users do not receive these ads.
Google handles advertising data under its own privacy policy and advertising policies. More information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Children’s privacy
Ocarina Buddy does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
